Q: I have gotten alot of negative responses. Consumer Guide and Edmund's give it a pretty good rating but when I poised the question in Yahoo questions, all I got was bad feedback. Would you recommend it? How bout the mileage, how's it go in snow, any problems with the electrical system? I test drove the AWD (fully loaded) a couple of weeks ago and loved everything about it. I was contemplating buying it until I received the negative feedback from Yahoo questions.
A: I would have no qualms with the reliability of a Sportage. But by the time you load it up with options. you are entering the territory of numerous competitors that offer more advanced engineering/more space/greater fuel economy.
