why most rally cars are either RWD or AWD, but seldom FWD?

Q: For example, subaru sti and mitsubishi evolution are AWD. and like the Nissan 350z, Porche, and Infiniti, they probably not called rally cars, (I dont know what they called tho :p), they have quite good horsepower, and they are rare wheel drive too..

A: FWD cars are great as regular mom and pop cars. But a pro driver need AWD for better traction (of off road driving). And true sports car will need RWD because when a car has lots of power, the car weight shifts to the rear and the front loses some traction (not good for raw acceleration). And on dry track, powering through a corner is gives the driver more control using the RWD car (control drifting). Good Luck....
