Q: Can anyone tell me why the late 80's landcruisers are holding their value so much better than the early 90's model? What is wrong w/ the 90's models?
A: The late 80,s cruisers or fj60 or fj62 still had front leaf springs...The difference betwen the 60 and 62 models is that the fj62 was an automatic tranny only..The 90,s the front suspension was changed and there was alot more things that can go wrong...Electric windows ,computer stuff that the average mechanic might have problems with...To put it simply the early cruisers are easy to work on and alot of parts are available...
