A: Those 1969 Chevrolet Chevelles, and Pontiac Beaumonts, they would have those 307 decals on them, yet have 427 cid engines, headers, dual exhaust, two four barrels, ladder bars, some would have wheelie bars, etc.. Those cars when you heard them idle sounded like they would stall, Racing Cam, High Compression, yet you knew you would get smoked! Then there were those factory 1961 - 1963 Pontiac 421 Super Duty Catalinas, Venturas, Grand Prixs, and Tempest Lemans with Two Four Barrels Factory, which were rare but could smoke you no problem at all! Those 421 S.D. engines had factory headers with dump valves you could uncap. The 1969 - 1970 Pontiac GTO(s) had "V.O.E." a cable with knob so you could open the exhaust for more Horse Power!
