Q: Does my 'Y' reg vauxhall corsa sxi have power steering?. I have a 2001 01(Y) reg vauxhall corsa sxi. I was wondering if it has power steering it feels light but when i was parking it in my garden the other day it started to get really stiff! I was wrestling it in. This could be down to oil though couldn't it?
A: Yes it does, but it doesn't use fluid - they use a cheap & nasty electric power steering setup, very fault prone. If it fails, you'll need a new motor.
