A: This recall is not a recall as such, dealers have been issued letters as the technicians will check the vehicles when they come in for a service and find the range in the VIN in the last six digits if the vehicle falls in that range then the RE-WORK will be carried out. They don't want the public to know as this will have a hard hit on sales for the vehicle, even next year. So they're trying to get alot of them done in Pre-delivery. GM TECH-OPEL I wonder why i got a thumbs down when i work for them?!?!?! This is what is really happening?!?!?! As i've read the letter for myself, the work is a head gasket as it has been revised.
