Q: I called two Nissan dealerships. One said yes and the other no, it is at 60,000. What should I do? Thanks!

A: Not every 30K miles, but definitely if it hasn't been done since new. The technical answer is that the powertrain computer has some complex computing that it does to determine when the fluid needs to be changed. The Murano has the CVT transmission, which is a pricey piece of machinery. The fluid is also pricey, at a cost of about $20 per quart, available only at the dealership. At every oil change, or even every 15K miles is overkill. Maybe Hondas need to be serviced that much, but you have a Nissan.
