Q: I was able to pick up a stock ceramic Garret turbo off a GTR33 Skyline. I have a SSautochrome bottom mount turbo manifold. I am not looking to run extreme boost at this point but how much could I run? and how much hp/tq would I be looking at if I have almost stock internals on a KA24DE on a 92 240sx.(other mods: 550cc injectors, walbro 255lph fuel pump, 3" cat back exhaust/downpipe.) I have checked KA-T.org and 240sx.org for answers but nothing yet. The thing I forgot to mention is that it has .43 AR...
A: Nothing on ka-t.org? Did you search or ask a question? The t25 set up is the most common turbo install. At 7psi on a decent tune you will see 200whp/tq Figure 10hp for every 1psi increase. After about 14psi it will run out of power. I have seen a couple of perfectly tuned healthy stock KAs putting down 240hp/240tq at 10psi.
