A: The automotive writers i've read have been very positive about the Altima coupe. Its fuel economy figures are 23 city/31 highway, versus 26/36 for the Civic recommended by another poster. i cannot find mentions of widespead engine problems. Some reviewers do find the CVT transmission a little unusual.
