Q: I need to replace the plugs and wires for my nissan d21. Will it mess things up if i buy ngk plugs but a different brand of wires? Is it going to mess things up if i use a certain brand of plugs but a different brand of wires?
A: I find aftermarket wires pull apart the next time you remove the spark plugs. If you buy NGK platinum Plugs you will have to wait 60,000 miles to do that. Just buy good quality wires and you will be ok.
