Q: I would like a leather package installed in the base 2.5. The dealer says they cannot install this because it will void the side air bag warranty. They said the sensors that detect weight may not function properly. Sounds unlikely but wanted to know if anyone had encountered this issue. Thanks.
A: You really don't want to buy the cheep Altima if you want to add $1,000 leather seating surfaces to it. Just buy the package with the bells and whistles what is that 50 or 60 dollars a month? and you get better radio and steering wheel controlled Blue tooth and more? Always buy a loaded car because in 3 to 5 years those sell much faster on the market as your life style changes. Really cloth is not bad if you have scotch guarded it
