Q: today my intelligent key stopped working. i read my manual and it told me to put the key into the slot left of the steering wheel. i did so, but there is no light as it says there should be. i push the breaks and press the ignition button. the push button usually does not do anything but a few times it just goes to acc then just randomly shuts off. i do not have a backup key on me. what shold i do?
A: Yours is the second 2008 I-Key malfunction I have heard. Ues Nissan is the only place that can help you with a new key fob and reprograming bring along all of your I-KEYS because they will need both to program one new fob. I hope your other I-Key is still working.
