Q: Its the little boot that I guess hold gear oil in and I need it cause mine is torn to hell....any suggestions?

A: There are up to 4 boots the inside trim boot one or two 4x4 around the transmission tunnel and the round one you describe on top of the transmission. after removing the center coin tray console thing unbolting the metal ring holding the one or two rubber heat and dust covers twist off the shift knob cut off the round boot with scissors clean the area carefully not knocking dirt into the trans save the plastic tie strip or replace it with a new one. It looks unlikely that little rubber boot stretches over the selector lever some silicone spray really helps or petroleum jelly slip it down tie it to the trans top and your done. Then decide if the other rubber needs replacing. Only place you can get the correct rubber is your dealership. Trans oil is 80wt x 90wt GL-4 not rear end grease you should pick up a qt. at the dealer and a trans fluid pump at Auto Parts store. That weight non hyploid oil is kind of hard to find at parts stores.
