Q: it's from a private seller..im looking to buy my first car and im on a budget right now..do you think that's a good deal or should i look elsewhere? im also looking at a 2003 pontiac grand prix at a dealership for 5,995 with 18k miles which deal sounds best?
A: Altima is a good first car easy on fuel and easy to insure. Does it drive out ok? The grand prix is a larger car with a 3.8 liter motor might cost more in gas and might not be such a good deal at 6 thousand dollars. I think the same Altima at 3,000 and grand prix at 5,500 would be more in line. The Grand Prix miles seem way to low Get a Car fax make sure it hasn't sat in a body shop for a few years or spedometer is alright
