Q: Is anybody knows how to adjust my carburator fuel/air mixture? need help

A: It depends on what nissan sentra. there were that used the carburetor and there were with Fuel Injection. If it is the carburetor model, you turn your air screw till it is completely closed. This should make the car stop. If it is still idling, then it is getting air where it is not supposed too. A 1 and a1/2 turn should be near to correct air setting. What you do then with the fuel screw is just up or down it a bit to get your idling speed too +-800 revs. If it is a fuel injection system, this is all done by the chip. A nice hop up in economy and power is to actually advance your timing to about 15 degrees. (Do not go over 17.) This will cause the engine to idle higher. Just push the petrol pedal down 3 succesive times to rev over 3500 revs, and it will bring your idling speed back too normal. Do not let your car pre-detonate or ping. That is not good at all. This will only work with 93+ octane. You will have a better responsive vehicle. Hope I helped. :)
