Q: I checked the fuse and it is not blown. My next guess is the wiring but I do not the wiring layout. Could this be a easy fix.
A: I ALWAYS went and bought the full-manual from the dealer for ALL of my cars... the wiring diagram helps. YES, it could be a simple fix !! My next recommendation is to pull a lighter out of another car and test IT in your car. If it works, it's the lighter itself... if not, it's the wiring. GOOD LUCK.
