Q: I backed over a curb.. brand new car of course. It pulled of the driver's side part of the bumper. No dents, no pain scratches.. just pulled the panel out and it looks like it could snap right back but there's one hole for a bolt and the bolt ripped out the plastic. So basically I need someone to repair the hole around the bolt and bolt it back. Nothing major.. I don't think. What might that cost? Any more than $100? My car salesman said the Nissan service dept may be able to fix it for like $50... any ideas? I'm absolutely crushed that this happened! that should say "no paint scratches." I think I'm in so much pain from this happening.. lol

A: This is an easy fix. Go to your local auto parts show them the problem. They will get you a bumper repair kit 10.00 . It comes with some resin, resin harder, and a mesh screen. All you have to do is mix a little of it put some over the hole, put mesh screen on top of that and put the rest of the resin that you mixed on top of the screen. Let it dry, use drill to make a new hole (through the mesh), and screw it all back together. Will take about 30 mins.
