Q: I need to know where the starter relay is located on a 1993 nissan 240sx. An image would really be very helpful. Thanks!
A: Manual trans or automatic? Automatic uses the neutral safety switch side of trans no relay. Manual trans cars I first check the plastic grommet on the clutch pedal lever that pushes the clutch switch. Make sure car is out of gear next to the engine wall depress the switch with one hand and turn the key with the other (Starts) does not start Now the interlock relay Nissan Calles it that. Located behind the right head light on the inner fender in that black retangular box with approx 6 relay posistions in it only 3 or 4 relays used there. If the clutch switch grommet is bad you'll notice plastic crumbles on the floor.
