Q: I drive a 1994 Nissan Maxima and recently took off the intake manifold and valve covers for a little cleaning and now I've got my car running again but the brakes don't work at all compared to how they worked before the work and the only thing I know has changed was I had to take the brake booster hose off the intake manifold and I did put it back on so I don't know what the problem is. Anyone know and procedure that will fix this? The booster and master cylinder should be okay I would think. I couldn't find any cracks though this hose is likely 14 years old and isn't the least cracked looking on the surface though I'm sure the majority of it is surface damage.

A: any additionial info.... pedal is hard / soft? pedal goes to the floor? etc.??????
