Q: Iam goning to replace the stock motor in my 95 200sx se. I want to replace it with another ga16de, but I want it ported .40 over. I would have just put an sr20de or one of the many jdm motors in but I love the reliability of the ga16de. So I think what Iam asking is; does anybody know of a machine shop that will port my existing block and port and polish the head for a resonable price? I can get ahold of a .40 over piston set easy but I would also like to find a shop that will port and assemble the long block so all I have to do is bolt on my accessories and install. Thanx
A: Do a search for a cylinder machine shop in your area. Most will do exactly what you ask, but a lot of them are drop off and pick up. They will machine and rebuild but not install.
