Q: Apparently, even after the merger, it will be years before you can get Sirius channels on XM units and Vice Versa. I am buying a 2008 Nissan Xterra with the technology package. It comes standard with XM...is it possible to have the dealership swap it to a Sirius radio? Or is there a convertor type cable I can buy? Where would I buy it? Thanks!!!

A: Yes you can. It is especially easy now to get the dealer to do things for you since the market is so bad for them. Even if they don't have one is stock, they can order one or get one from another manufacturer. If you want they will probably buy and install one from a local stereo shop. They are willing to do almost anything to assure a deal. Check out some available Sirius decks for your Xterra http://www.crutchfield.com/g_300/Car-Receivers.html?tp=5684&nvpair=AG_General_Features%7cFFSatellite_Radio_(SIRIUS)
