Q: I am purchasing my first car (used) in November, which should I choose?? I get positive feedback all the time about Nissan's and Toyota's but kind of stuck on which to get. Please provide the make and model that you suggest. Thank you! : - )
A: Nissan, though don't get ANY Nissan with a 2.5 liter engine because the QR25DE is prone to failure. If you can try to find Nissans with 2.4, 3.0 or 3.5 liter engines. That encompasses all of Nissans V6s which have always been reliable and the KA24DE which used to be Nissan's most common inline 4 and proved reliable during it's over 15 years of being used in Nissan's cars and trucks.
