Q:

A: To the answer above i love the 300zx and my bro had an z31,i think they are great cars and would have one myself, but to say the Skyline is overrated is def not a fact and only an opinion.the skylines are great cars. The R34 GTR as with any Japanese car had to be kept below 276bhp on paper, but again as with other Japanese performance cars actual running figures are higher stock R34 GTR models are found to run around 330bhp and as with other skylines through the range Nissan provide a tunable engine so actual running power of these cars is around 500bhp with its stock internals and over 1000bhp with mods. The Skyline range is popular due to the hardcore engines which take well to mods and few mods to make differences, and for the cost of the car and the ability it has in speed and handling it makes a great car as with other Skyline models down to the non turbo and station wagon version. Myself iam on my second skyline and hopefully my third after this one,the cars have looked after me and had no major faults and performance is excellent and engine seems to keep going no matter how much hammer it gets. They cater for my needs as a family car and suit taking my kids to school and to the shops for a monthly shopping run. Major faults with Skylines is the need to drive it all the time and find reasons to go out in it,also the silly smile you get when you drive one which is hard to remove, and unsure which car to change to next as its hard to leave skylines once you have owned one. So def great cars and in any list of best cars made i have never not seen a Skyline in the list. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKdKV1AsQXM cool review. The answer below the 350z is another great car and one of my favs but tuning wise still isn't GTR easy. and against a modern car it would be fair to match new for new a new GT-R against a new car to make it fair.At the end of the day the Skyline has nothing to prove this is something it has done way back and even more so from the R32 Racing days and now modern racing and drifting.
