Q: I sold my car to a lady a while back ago and told her that my mom was supposed to be sending me the title shortly (mom was the previous owner). Well as it turns out she is not going to send to the title and i was wondering if there was a way for the buyer to get a title for the car herself. Reply ASAP!!!!!!!!!
A: nope. she needs to prove she purchased the car from the owner. that would be your mom. if she has a recipt she can challange it. but it could take awhile. at this point your mom could report the car stollen and cause a big stink if she really wanted to. yikes. good luck.
