Nissan Skyline?

Q: Im looking to buy a 2002 Nissan Skyline R34 or 2002 Nissan GT-R whichever one has more horsepower. Im not looking to spend alot of money and i was actually planning on finding one in a junkyard or somewhere where it is like in crap condition so i can fix it up myself as a project. I was wondering where i might look for one? And also i heard Europe has alot more skylines over there so maybe id have better luck over there? >but then id have to deal with the emissions test and importing it.. no idea how much that costs. So can someone help me? Im kind of lost. THNX! and NO im not looking to spend alot of money. As i said, Im looking for one that is in bad condition for me to fix up.

A: The R34 came as a non turbo single turbo and twin turbo setup with 2 door and 4 door rwd and awd as well as triptronic and manual versions. The GTR model is the top model with actual bhp figures close to 33bhp but the single turbo version is stock around 280bhp and very tunable and can reach high BHP figures and a lot cheaper by far to buy. Mods wise that differs state to state other US owners i see on the skyline forum always say California is the easiest state to own a Skyline in.But its dependable on your local state. and as said can differs between states. And a small amount require the car to be made lhd but not all states. Here in the UK there are a good few Skylines in my small town there was 3 ,2 r32's which was mine and a young ladies and a R33 spec 2 which is mine now but there are another 5 R33 models in my town now.Although i own the only spec 2 version. So there are def a good load over here. The hassle your going to have if your in the US is getting it in after the gov decided that with Motorex crash data for the spec 2 skylines was the only true figures they could go by and only allowing R32 R34 models which where already in the US to be legal all others are illegal as such. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=105699 how someone got an R34 legal. If you find out what mods are needed etc and def going to have one let me know and i will source some out for you. Ultimate models are the n1 v spec and the z tune. But look at the GTT also as said alot cheaper and very very tunable and def my next car.... If all else fails and you seem to find one then other option is a 240sx/silvia skyline conversion. Or you could maybe nip to Canada where the R32 and the R33 Spec 1 is road legal due to it reaching its classic car age and bring a shell back.
