Q: i have a nissan maxima and according to the mechanic i have a misfire in cylinder 2 and five so he tells me i need to replace the injectors ...i think to my self well i cant be rocket science so i wanna do it my self ... by the way im replacing all of them

A: It is harder than you think also several gaskets are obselete. Upper intake plenium and gasket and several coolant hoses have to be removed. Air inlet boot almost always tears so get ready for extra things to ruin your day. Each injector is sealed to the fuel rail with two o rings the top cap is held with #2 philips screws that strip out Motorcycle impact screwdriver amd WD-40 really works there. Grasp each injector big slip jaw pliers twist and pull. Grease the new injector o ring to prevent tearing and cutting. Which by the way you won't know you done until you reassemble the whole car and start the engine. Take your time buy all the coolant hoses vacuum hoses and valve cover gaskets while the intake is off, new PCV hoses air intake boot before you start. and use up the entire day. Don't get discouraged if you cut an injector o ring you will get good at removing the intake when it has new rubber hoses it is easy. 18 year old rubber hoses break.
