Q: It lacks a radio,air conditioning, has smaller tires, and no chrome bumper than a Nissan Frontier SE. But couldnt i buy bigger tires, get the chrome bumper, and get a deck? Wouldnt they be the same size cars then?
A: You have a good idea there. I too have thought about buying a lower model and upgrading the different parts myself. I would suggest going with the SE. Save your pennies and buy one that is put together right by Nissan. Sometimes there are more differences than those that meet the eye. Having said that, if the deal on the XE is too good to pass up, then I say go for it. You can make the changes as you so choose over time. Buying a Frontier is a win-win situation. Take care.
