Q: which is the better car a 96 saturn or a 93 nissan altima?
A: I owned both, a 96 Altima and 97 SL2...The saturns engines are notorious for blow by problems ( oil getting past rings flowing up spark plugs) I went through a rebuild and a replace on that thing and swear I will never by another Saturn. With that said I did like that the car was easy to work on and the parts were reasonalbe price. The Altima I never had one single issue with. I bought it brand new and put 190k on it. Only part that had to be changed due to failure was a radiator hose. It was so great that when I sold it I went a bought a 2006. Bottom line is that I love nissan. My first was and still is 93 300zx ....my daughter has 90 maxima and the wife 06 Altima.....you can't go wrong with Nissan
