Q: I drive an '05 Nissan Altima. Before I went on vacation (a week before last) the check engine soon light was on. I get back from vaca yesterday and drive the car just fine. Today when I go to drive it, it doesn't work... It's NOT the battery. When I go to charge it it says the battery is fine. It makes a really weird sound when I go to turn on the car - almost like everything is vibrating... HELP
A: He's right. Your Check engine light came on for a reason. The Altimas with the 3.5 had a problem with the Cam and Crank position sensors. That will most definitely cause the car not to crank. Anyways get it towed and get the codes read. Good Luck!
