Q: will a pair of dual chrome magnum mufflers sound good on my 1993 convertible nissan 300zx. the guy from the muffler shop said they would sound good and boost my cars speed . i do i really know thats true . i need peoples suggestions
A: The best thing to do is a cat back system. It will be more expensive, but the best thing to do. Exhaust system will add a few more horses. You will notice a litttle bit of a difference in response time but thats about it. I got my cat system off ebay. This is the one I have, and its a direct bolt on (not welding needed) and comes with everything. I have to admit it does get old after a while. Also if your in enter a parking garage, you may be asked to leave because of setting off car alarms and the over whelming noise (that's from expericence).
