Whats the maximum MPG I can get with an '03 Nissan Maxima?

Q: I know the 'sticker' says around 18 city and 20-something highway, but im hearing these are just an average and it varies from driver to driver. I'm a responsible driver. I always go the posted speed limit (unless its the highway and theres no traffic, ill usually push it to 60-65 mph). I also dont do jack rabbit starts, and i try not to push my car over 2,000 rpm. If i knew how to measure mpg myself id do it =p, anyone have any ideas?

A: You can measure your AVERAGE gas mileage by yourself. Here's how you do it: Fill up your gas tank all the way. After you've filled it up, reset the little trip mileage meter on your dash board before driving. Drive it like you normally do. Don't just drive extra slow to get a better reading, drive like you would usually do. On your next fill up, fill the car all the way to full again. Before you leave, note the # of gallons that you just filled up. Now look at the number of miles that is on your trip meter. Divide the number of miles on your trip meter by the number of gallons you just filled. That my friend, is a pretty accurate measurement of your average mpg.
