240sx Fuel in oil?And Bogs at 3K RPM?

Q: Just bought a 92 240sx 2.4dohc for 500 bucks. The guy claimed that when he got it it sputtered and backfired bad and realized the timing was way off. He set it and it cranked up but when he drove it it wouldn't get passed 3000 Rpm's. So he looked again and noticed that their was fuel in the oil. He said that he had narrowed it down to either the Maf sensor or injectors. The body was in such emaculant shape i decided to buy it.So i took the valve cover off and saw what looked like a brand new timing chain and i checked the timing and it was right. He already took the injectors out but just to test it i turned it over and the motor turns great with no weird noises. So my question is if their is fuel in the oil based on what i have stated is the problem coming from faulty injectors or the rings or Maf sensor or something way worse?

A: If it will not rev over 3000rpm then it is 100% for sure the maf. The maf if not working has a safe mode that will not let it run over 3000rpm. As far as fuel in the oil....if it is enough to notice CHANGE IT NOW....it will ruin your cylinders and bearings quick. Thee fuel in the oil may be caused by it running rich because of the maf. It may also be a leaky injector o-ring. Bad injector o-rings are a HUGE problem on most nissans. Lube them up before you pop them into the rail. Use NEW o-rings EVERY time you remove/install them. Fix the maf first, it is bad for sure. (Get a used on for $30-50 on any nissan forum classified) Then if it idles bad, blows smoke, and fuel ends up in the oil again move on to checking the injectors.
