Q: I recently purchased a nissan altima with 64,000miles, when I turned it on today and drove around for about 10-15 minutes I noticed that the car was heating up rather quickly. My dad added some water to some little thingy there (lol..sorry I dont really know "car" lingo) and the temp. went back down to normal. But, now everytime I press on the brake, she kinda shakes, sometimes more than others, its like a tremble. What can this possibly be? And, what might have caused the car to heat up like that? My dad said that it didnt have water or something like that, but i think its more than that. Also, is there a way I can connect my ipod to the radio that came with this car? Totally different topic I know. Thanks in advance!

A: I don't think that your over heating issue and your car shaking when you brake have anything in common. The reason your engine over heated is because there is a coolant leak somewhere. It may be an external leak or an internal leak. You will have to take it to a mechanic to figure that out. About the shaking, I think your front brake rotors are warped and you will need to go have them machined. You will have to take it to a mechanic for this as well. The answer to your iPod question is yes but you will have to buy a kit to do this. You can get one at any electronic store like Best Buy or Radio Shack.
