Q: Same engine ( This engine is strong) I just recently did a 7000 rpm burnout and It did terrific can I find a wrecked twin turbo and use the parts or is it worth it ? The body is 95 % excellent and would be worth restoring to 100% I am not very Knowledgable about non american auto's but this car is sweet . Help would be great tks
A: The best thing to do is a tt swap. Its easy and cheap. You'll just have to find a tt engine and tranny combo (got mine off ebay 1100). You'll also need an ecu for both tranny and engine. If you lucky the place you get it from with have those also ( I got ecu for my engine off ebay as well 50.00) and the tranny ecu came with tranny. Had a mech drop it in for another 1k which included new hoses, belts, alternator and fluids.
