Q: For some reason my power window came off track to my 01 nissan altima. So i need to get it back on track and in order to do that i need to remove the driver side door panel. The motor still works in there i can hear it. But i need to get it back on track. So how can i remove the panel to get to the window and track and motor. Also is there anything that i should know before doing this?
A: More than likely the window regulator is bad and it's not just off track. You will probably need to replace it. The door panel is easy to remove. Pop the window switch out first. Then there is a screw inside the pocket that you grab to shut the door. Remove that screw then you can grab the bottom of the door panel and pop it off. It's held on by plastic clips.
