Q: replaced gas cap but still readin same code.the car is running fine but it still has engine light on what else might it b anyone have any othe ideas.
A: Loose gas cap would give code P0442. 440 could be electrical, or vacuum, since the EECS works both on electricity and vacuum. Could be loose wires, bad solenoid, or a vacuum line has come loose.
