Q: I ordered 4300k hids for my 99 nissan pathfinder, but now I want to complete it with some blue fog lights, something like 10000k. But I do not want to buy an hid kit for them, I just want bulbs. Anyone have any ideas?
A: Make sure the bulbs you buy are the same (or close) to the wattage of the stock ones. Since the color effect is your main goal, you can buy blueish bulbs in several wattage levels. A pair of 55W should cause no problems (wire melting) and compliment your HID kit. Melting only occurs when you use high power replacements (that also produce MUCH more heat) or a short of some kind. A 55 watt choice will be perfect for what you are looking for.
