Q: I know i need a turbotimer and a boost controller. I also herd that there is a part that you can get that sucks the oil into the turbos before starting the car so you can ensure your turbos safety when starting up and not cracking the housing. Does anyone know about that?

A: the important things to ensure turbo charger life, are warm up and cool down. By taking it easy when you first start the car and drive, it will warm up the vital parts that spin at such high speeds. Then before you shut it off you should let it idle for a bit to cool the oil down some, or drive it easy the past part of your ride before turning the engine off. Once the engine goes off the turbo may still be spinning and the oil is no longer cooling it. Its a hassle sometimes, but this will keep the turbos alive a longer time. Also regular oil changes, using the correct oil for your car is important. What you mentioned is a pre-oiler, and you can check on the web for these at Jegs.com and other speed equipment shops. Not usually necessary, but they do help.
