Q: i have 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse rs and i want to put a AEM V2 Cold Air Intake Kit on it but i have the dodge neon engine and the engine is the same but flipped around. will it fit?
A: No, it won't fit. Secondly, it won't give you a single bit of a benefit. At BEST, you'll gain 3-4 horsepower. At a very specific RPM. For the rest of your powerband, nothing. Or maybe 1hp. Or, you may even lose horsepower. Go look at dyno tests of cold air intakes on your car. Then, ignore the amazingly cool peak numbers, and look at the overall band. For the average of 1-2 hp, it's not worth it. You can't even feel a difference. It creates a placebo effect, so you think you're faster, but even at 3-4 horsepower, it's not even to change the performance of your car. It's just too little of an improvement.
