Q: so i really want a 2008 eclipse but one of my friends told me it has many problems. but this friend is not a very reliable source. have you or anyone you know had any problems with an eclipse?
A: The Eclipse is actually a reliable car but according to Consumer Reports, it scored too low on their tests for it to be recommended. Predicted reliability on the Eclipse is above average. The new Eclipse looks sporty but it is far from being a sports car. It's too big and plows forward on sharp turns. Traction, being a front wheel drive, isn't perfect of course but will do in everyday driving. The inline 4 actually is a little weak for a heavy car but if you get the V6, the car is pretty quick. If you plan to tag along more than one friend, this car is not for you. The back seat is just for purses. All in all, the car looks cool and sporty. The Rockford Fosgate sound system is awesome!
