Q: I bought the car used and unsure what it is capable of doing as far as the sunroof. Does it slide all the way back and gives a full sunroof. I can only get my roof to raise in the back, was wondering was that it or is it off track. I do not have a car manual. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
A: It's suppose to slide almost all the way out. It's actually called spoiler sunroof since it works like one as opposed to the one that slides in. Your sunroof mechanism isn't working right. The chain that pulls the glass probably broke or whatever mechanism it is probably has some loose threads. The whole thing probably needs to be replaced. Your looking at about 800+ to replace the sunroof.
