Q: I bought by 1993 3000Gt Sl about a month ago from a lady who took real good care of it. I have had no problems at all with the car so far. But I would like to keep it that way for as long as i can. Does anyone have any tips at all of how i can keep my car runing strong? A: pack her out in bubble wrap and keep her in the garage. what ever you do dont start her up. ;) serious if you did that in 10 years she'll be worth a mint, that beast is a popular classic waiting to happen. but if you wanna use it like your man says, keep her serviced let it warm up before hoonin off and dont race off the lights every time. if its the twin turbo keep the engine running for a few mins on low revs after your journey before turning her off, this keeps oil pumping through the turbines while there slowing down. look after her bud
