I have a 2000 Mits. Eclipse and while driving car will shut-off. It doesn't crank and ignition fuse blows?

Q:

A: You probably have an aftermarket amp or stereo put in and the problem is from one of the wires grounding out and a check of the computer won't help. First try removing the stuff that you put on the car that wasn't stock and see if that solves the problem and if not a recent repair to the car would be a good place to look over. But in the end your battery is being drained and the alternator is not able to keep up with the loss, so pulling it off and having it check ( free at most auto parts stores) and the battery. If not it's a wire grounding to the body, now where? That you will have to go over any work done on the car before, to see where someone made a mistake.
