A: its expensive. I drift and use my 240sx as a daily driver. i go through a fresh set of tires every month and go through a set of junk yard tires after like 30mins of a practice session. so i had to lay off drifting for a while. But is alot of fun the main thing that will cost you is tires. And you should also invest in a nice suspension setup. I have stance gr+ pros on my 240sx. they are fully adjustable and i also have aftermarket tesion rods and driting controls arms and adjust camber and caster on my car. my suspension cost around about 1700. But i started practicing whenever it rains also. its alot easier to slide and the tire don't take as much damage. just make sure you are in a private lot or on a track. I made an agreement with my church and they let me use the parking lot sometimes.
