A: No.The 1999 to 2003 Galants ( 8 generation) the engine is mounted facing the passenger side , the 1994 to 1998 (7 generation) the engine is mounted facing the driver side.The engine is the same displacement but almost everything mounted to the engine is different or mounted in a different way. if you need more info check the forums of http://www.thegalantcenter.net/forum/portal.php
