Q: Mitsubishi GALANT 1999 How many miles per gallon roughly its been pretty badly used and how many gallons maximum can it hold...thanks
A: We used to have a 2000 Galant (same car) and averaged about 24-25 mpg mixed city/highway. I think it holds13.6 gallons, if memory serves me correctly. In order to calculate your miles per gallon, fill up your tank and keep track of the number of miles you drive until you fill up your tank again. Divide the number of miles by the gallons you fill up with and that is your mpg. If you are not getting at least 20 mpg, you may need a tune-up.
