Q: I like the look of it, it has four doors and somewhat of a rear payload. What's the oldest model that I can buy, as I doubt I'll be able to afford new? Is that year model any good? I also want some actual owner's opinions before I buy one. Do you love or hate your Mariner Hybrid? Would you give it up?
A: Why buy the Mariner when you could get the same vehicle as the Ford Escape for less? Good? Probably but the best hybrid SUV for the money would be the Escape- not the Mariner. Still, I agree with the last answer on the fuel savings.
