Q: There was a tape stuck in the tape player and the motor kept running and I couldldn't get the tape out, so I took out the fuse for the radio so it would quit and now my speedometer is not working. I was wondering if somehow the speedometer is on the same fuse as the radio. Not sure anything about cars and I can't find anything on the internet. Thanks for helping.
A: Yes, the speedometer & part of the ICP (Integrated Control Panel ) are both controled by the fuse in the #24 position. (see page 101 of the owners manual) But there are actually several fuses that control different parts of the ICP. The diagrams & charts for the fuses & relays are found on pages 97-104. You can download the entire digital manual (in pdf format) and save it to your computer (or print it) for future reference. You need special tools to get into the ICP, so removing the fuse is only a temporary fix. It shouldn't be too difficult though. Good Luck. I hope this helps.
