Q: i was asking because it sounds like the rod bearings are going out, and heard a lot of good things about the 4.6L, I know it would be a lot of work to change over to it. Now does anyone know a good website or place where i could get a new 5.0 L engine?
A: Those cars weren't built for the 4.6 so it'll be a fair amount of work to make it run. I agree that the modular motors were designed much better, but 5.0's are dirt cheap and you won't have any problems making it work!
