Q: I have a 99 Mercury Mountaineer that I would love to put some 20 inch tires/rims on it. But I notice that all 20inch rims don't fit. What do I look for? Please help!!!
A: Nearly any 20" rim will fit with a standard off-set with a 5x114.3 or 5x 4.5 bolt pattern. Now for the tires. It depends on what tire is currently on your vehicle. 3 tire sizes with different overall diameters come with that truck. 1. 225/70R15 -> 275/40R20 2. 235/75R15 -> 275/45R20 3. 255/70R16 -> 295/45R20 Hope this helps.
